Be A Volunteer

Volunteering for a cause gives you a feeling of selfless satisfaction, mainly because you know you're making a difference to someone. You've seen people in need of help on the news after a natural disaster. Maybe you've walked past the poor and homeless. Or maybe you've seen a blind person on the streets and wished you could so something to help.

The Rakum School for the Blind is an organization dedicated to the cause of underprivileged and visually challenged children. So what can you do to help Rakum? The answer is simple - be a volunteer!

HOW YOU CAN HELP?

Volunteering means spending some of your free time helping others. You donate your time and help these children by participating in the day-to-day activities at the school. You can

  • read to them,
  • lend a hand in their kitchen, or
  • teach them valuable life skills to help them cope,
  • choose to raise funds and supplies for these underprivileged children.

Do you have a special skill like languages, carpentry, yoga, arts and craft, or something else? Share it with the children at Rakum School for the Blind.

Your vision to help is always welcome. Be a Volunteer today.
